BC Ministry of Environment and Geoscience BC Aquifer Mapping and Classification   LHC team members have carried out numerous aquifer mapping projects for BC MOE & GBC over the last 10 years.  The projects have been completed in all regions of the Province and about half of the total 1000 aquifers mapped in BC were mapped by our team members.  The BC Aquifer classification system was employed and this includes aquifer vulnerability, level of development and productivity plus a statistical analysis of all well record data.  Aquifer mapping (delineation) is one of the first steps in ground watershed studies.
